Photo Spots is a curated list of locations in the area that are good spots for photography. This is a new feature so we are still adding locations.

Myrick Park has a lot to offer with shelters, a huge playground, and the Myrick Park Center but what is of most interest to nature photographers is that it is a gateway to the wetlands and the entire area trail system.

Grandad Bluff is the largest and most well known bluff in the La Crosse area. At the top is a park with a shelter and a scenic overlook. From there you can see not only the city of La Crosse but also Minnesota to the west and Iowa to the south.  There are also hiking trails available.

This little gem is hidden away just outside the city limits of La Crosse in Shelby. It's not very big but it packs two waterfalls, ponds, multiple paved trails, and plenty of greenery to get your nature fix.
