Main program: Welcome to Camera Club


We'll start out with introductions and discuss our goals for the year. After that, Sue will go over how the competition works including reviewing competition rules and a demo of how to resize your photos and Michelle will give an overview of the website. Then we'll watch a video about underwater photography by LaVaughn Hengst. We'll end with an extended Cookies and Conversations time where we can chat with returning friends and get to know new and prospective members.

Note: This meeting will be held at the South Side Neighborhood Center which has a very small parking lot. Allow extra time for street parking.

  • Thanks for bringing treats to the picnic.
  • Steve (current president) introduced himself. Feel free to contact him if needed. His email address and number are on his emails.
  • Welcome to visitors and new members. Steve's sister LaVaughn Hengst is visiting from Germany.
  • Thanks to Brian for all his work as president and helping Steve get going as the new president.
  • Dues can be paid to Donna during the meeting or mailed see How to Join / Renew for address.
  • Steve went over the plan for today's meeting.

  • Michelle gave a tour of the website.
  • Brian discussed N4C.
  • LaVaughn Hengst shared a video of her underwater photography followed by a Q&A.
  • Kim went over the photo challenges: First is "10 of 1" due by Dec 29th.
  • Steve will send out an email about upcoming photo shoots.
