Meeting Summary - February 10, 2009
Meeting:
First February meeting - We are judging N4C in March and are looking for judges. Tentative date is March 17th
- Our swap meet had nine people selling. After paying expenses, the club made $25.
- Checking account switched to Coulee Bank. Opened a convention account.
- 6-8 camera club members went to photograph the Shrine. Looking into having an event at the shrine.
- Next convention planning meeting next Tuesday at Owen's house 6:30pm.
- Jerry looking for photos of downtown restaurants for DVD
- Discussed upcoming schedule.
- Peder will look into getting the Freighthouse for the Year End banquet
- Mary Ann mentioned there is an old camera display at the library's museum
- The church is looking for photos they can use for Easter. Subject is “What would Christ see if he took a stroll in the world today?” Due next meeting. If we can get 15-20 pictures it will cut down on our rental cost. 8X10 and up, matted. Photos will be returned. John will mount if needed.
- Wisconsin Professional Photographers Association – Free passes to next meeting.
- March 7th – Polar Plunge
